About the photographer

Madan Paudel

I picked up a camera in October 2022 and haven't put it down. My work moves between documentary and travel photography — drawn to ritual, landscape, and the quiet dignity of people going about their lives in sacred spaces.

Much of my work has been made across Nepal and northern India: the ghats of Vrindavan, rhododendron trails above Pokhara, Holi in Mathura, and the pre-dawn mist of Pashupatinath. I shoot with a Sony ZV-E10 and believe the best camera is the one that gets you closest to the moment.
